My half day off

After working 5.5 hours this morning, I got to leave and call it a week. Tomorrow, is my "holiday" to make up for the fact that I have to work Monday morning when most of my co-workers get the day off. I have already been to the bank to cash my check. All of it besides 57 dollars went towards bills and finishing Christmas shopping.

So with the rest of the day off, my husband and I went to see The Family Stone this afternoon. We were two of six people in the theatre. I guess people don't like to see movies in the afternoon, or most adults are still at work? Who knows. I liked the movie, it was cute. I don't know if my husband did. He never said. He took me to see Star Wars III against my will, I made he come with me and see a chick flick. I guess it all works out. After the movie we had to stop at the mall and pick up a gift for our mothers. Waiting at the Piercing Pagoda, my husband smelled marijuana. He walked over by two teenagers and says really loud, "Yup, its them. Seems like they would be in the food court with the munchies." I just said stop it and we walked into another store, found what we needed and came home.

My next plan is to run on my treadmill. The repairman came to fix it on Tuesday (See The treadmill saga). After he fixed it I ran on it. I was so happy! It saved me from running outside in 20 degree weather. The problem was that some screws near the motor became loose.

Well, I got to run. Literally.
