Usually when I run on my treadmill, I watch Food Network. I always turn it to that channel because it gives me something good to watch while I'm running. Wednesday, Food Network was on while running 6 miles. For the last three miles, Barefoot Contessa had a clip show dedicated to chocolate recipes. I couldn't handle it. Seeing all of that chocolate made me hungry. All I kept thinking about was the Crunch ice cream bar that was in my freezer. I almost stopped running several times. But I stayed on the treadmill and finished. Once I was finished with my 6 mile run I ate the Crunch bar.
My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day, a day early on Wednesday. I was cold before entering the restaurant, so when we were seated I kept my coat, scarf and knit hat on. Our waiter comes over to our table and says, "Gentlemen, do you know what you would like to drink?" I looked up at the waiter and said, "Gentlemen?" He said, "I'm sorry, I thought you were a man because of the hat you're wearing. It says 'Go Blue' and it’s a Michigan hat." After the waiter took our drink orders, I said to my husband, "Girls can't wear Michigan hats?" My husband said, "He's probably in the back saying to myself 'There goes my tip'." The waiter was actually very good and to make up for his goof, he walked to the bar twice during dinner to give me an update of the score for the Duke/Maryland basketball game.
At work this morning, the internet was down for most of my shift. It’s hard to get your work completed when the internet doesn't work. Every day I load photos onto a web site so people can view galleries and buy any photos they want. I tried all morning to load three folders. None of them would load. One started to load and the pop up box said it would take about two minutes. A couple of minutes later the pop up box changed to 153 hours. I canceled the photo upload. Twenty minutes before I left work, I successfully loaded one folder. Normally it would have taken less than five minutes, with the internet problems it took over 20 minutes. I didn't want to leave work without loading the other two folders, so I burned a CD and brought the photos home. I loaded them from my computer quickly.
