My hair dryer stopped unexpectedly while my hair was still dripping wet. I turned off the hair dryer and looked at the instructions attached to the cord. The instructions said to turn it off and unplug it for five minutes to let it cool down.
I tried to dry my long hair more with my towel. It only helped a little. Still waiting for the five minute cool down time, I decided to get dressed and try the hair dryer when I came back downstairs. I grabbed my clothes and headed upstairs to my bedroom to get dressed. I turned on the space heater in my bedroom to full power. I bent my head down to dry my hair. It’s not a good way to dry one's hair, but it did dry it very slowly.
After getting dressed, I went back downstairs into the bathroom to check on the hair dryer. I turned it on. It didn't work. The hair dryer is officially dead. So much for the five minute cool down.

I hate it when hair dryers die in the middle of drying your hair.
