Michigan's Devin Gardner was in tears while meeting Ohio State's Braxton Miller on the field after losing 42-41 Saturday at Michigan Stadium.
Michigan scored a touchdown with 32 seconds left making the score 42-41. They could have kicked an extra point to tie the game and go into overtime. Michigan decided to go for two-point conversion to win the game. Gardner threw the ball into coverage and it was picked off.
Michigan finished the regular season 7-5 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten. Michigan will find out which bowl game they will be heading to on Sunday, December 8 on ESPN during the Bowl Selection Show. Ohio State finished the regular season 12-0 and 8-0 in the Big Ten. Ohio State will play Michigan State Saturday, December 7 in the Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
