April 10, 1942 - August 15, 1998

I can't believe it's been 20 years, Dad. Twenty years you have been gone. Sometimes it feels like you left us a week ago. I wonder how different our lives would have been if you were still here. 

I think of you often and hope to see you again. I hope you are proud of us and how we have gone on without you. 

I love you and miss you.

Twenty years ago, you said goodbye and walked out into the warm summer sun. We said goodbye, not knowing that would be the last time. The course of our lives were changed forever that day.
