The Connecticut Huskies defeated Notre Dame Fighting Irish Tuesday in the NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship game 63-53 in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Leading the way for the Huskies was senior Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis with 15 point. Player of the Year, Breanna Stewart, didn't score a lot, but did contribute in other ways. Stewart had 8 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks.

With the win, the Huskies have won Back-To-Back-To-Back National titles and a total of 10 national championships. All of the titles have been won under Coach Geno Auriemma. Auriemma is now tied with UCLA coach John Wooden for most championships won.
