I was informed earlier this week that I was selected as a winner of a contest. The contest was a chance to win a trip for two to the 2010 Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Oregon. I entered the contest earlier this month and never thought I would win. When I received word that I won, I just couldn't believe it. Out of the thousands of people that entered, my named was picked. My husband and I will be flying to Portland for four days and three nights.
I'm so excited about this upcoming trip! I have never been out west. The furthest west I've ever been is Chicago. What really excites me about this trip is I get to see some of the best high school cross country runners in the United States. It will be so fun! I can't wait.
