Instead of running indoors on my treadmill Monday afternoon, I decided I would go outside. It was a nice day. A little bit of a breeze and 84 degrees. Granted I haven't run outside in 3 to 4 weeks because of the heat and humidity, I decided it was time to go back outside and run.
Halfway through my 3.5 mile run, my knees started to hurt. And they continued to hurt throughout the rest of the evening.
My legs are still sore today, but I will be back outside on the pavement Thursday.
