I photographed the 2006 River Raisin Scholarship Pageant at the River Raisin Festival in Blissfield this evening. I got to the Pavilion stage where the contest was being held and it was lightly raining. Then the skies opened up and it turned into a downpour. People who came early are standing on the stage trying to keep dry, myself included. After 45 minutes, the rain stopped and the pageant started a half hour late with the sun shining.Elisabeth Dorman, 19, of Tecumseh was crowned Miss River Raisin Festival 2006.
