Friday after my husband went to work, I went on a 4.4 mile run. It was a great afternoon. The sun was shining. The wind was blowing and it was still warm. Things overheard and things that I saw while running.
- Two guys on a front porch. One man was giving another man a haircut. I ran by the porch and the man giving the haircut yells at me, "Slow down". Then both men start laughing. Yeah, you're hilarious! Loser.
- I had to stop at a crosswalk for several cars that had the green light. After all of the cars cleared the intersection, I looked both ways to make sure no other cars were coming. As I cross the intersection a car that was waiting at the red light, decided to go right through it. Just because I crossed the street during the red light, that doesn't give you the right to run a red light in your car. Jerk.
- A little girl dressed up in a Spanish outfit having a good 'ole time dancing on the sidewalk.
- An old man in a Pontiac Montana driving straight towards me on the side of the road. Just as I jumped out of the way so he didn't run me over, the old man finally yanked his steering wheel in the other direction, avoiding me.
- I ran down into a local park to add more miles and a big hill to my run. Before leaving the park, I ran right by a wedding. It looked like the bride's dress and hair was from the turn of the century, or at least the 1980's. I'm sorry nobody wears a dress like that anymore.
