That's a fine piece of wood

Wood?

Wood.

Saturday is my 6th Wedding Anniversary and I'm looking for gift ideas. I looked up anniversary gift ideas on the Internet and I found a site that lists the traditional and modern gifts for each anniversary. On the site they have a listing for the 100th Wedding Anniversary gift. It is a 10K Diamond. Has any couple made it to their 100th wedding anniversary? Anyhoo.

What I care about is the 6th wedding anniversary because it is less then a week away. The traditional gifts for this special occasion is candy or iron. The modern gift of the sixth anniversary is wood. Most people will think dirty thoughts on the modern gift. I thought of it myself, but I'm planning on buying a gift from a store. Some suggestions from the website is a pine scented candle, wood furniture, wood carving, woody fragrances, firewood or a bonsai plant. I don't see myself buying any of these items. A candle? I think we have enough of them in the house, besides a candle as an anniversary gift? CHEAP! We don't need anymore furniture. We don't have a fireplace and I don't need my husband to smell like the woods.

I keep asking my husband what he would like. He answers, "I don't know." The sad thing is that I answer the same way. I know what I would like, but they are expensive. I would like a new Nikon digital camera and a laptop. I know that I would never receive those as gifts. Those are things that I have to buy myself.

I'll keep looking around the Internet for ideas. Hopefully I find something soon that I know he will like. If you have any suggestions, let me know. Those could be better then mine.
