Last night was the final episode for Big Brother 8. Since it was on at 9 pm EST, I didn't watch it. I recorded the show on my DV-R. I'm not one to wait until I watch the show to find out what happened. I had to know immediately who won when I woke up this morning. I went to my favorite spoilers website and found out Dick was named the winner of Big Brother 8. I was pleased with the vote. I'm excited that the show is over for the summer. For the past three months, I have been visiting spoiler Internet sites and reading what was going on in the house thanks to the live feeds that others subscribed to. I was a maniac. I was constantly checking these sites to see what the house guests were doing next. I don't know why this summer was the one that I decided to read all the spoilers. I never have in the past seven seasons. I guess that will free up my afternoons now.
Tonight starts a new cycle of America's Next Top Model. I have only started watching this show at cycle four, but thanks to the marathons on VH1 and MTV, I have seen all eight cycles. For this show there are no spoiler websites. Even though I will always try to watch the new episodes, the next morning I will be on TV websites reading the recaps. I'm such a geek.
