Football!

The fall sports season can officially begin Thursday. Thursday is the start of high school football in the county.

The first game I will be photographing tomorrow, will be recorded and broadcasted on Comcast cable at a later date. This is the first year that Michigan High School Athletic Association will be broadcasting high school games. Its cool that they picked two schools from my county for the first ever game. They wanted a small community game with a lot of people and I think that is what they will get. Last year these two teams also made it to the state football semi-finals with one of the teams making it to the state final in different divisions.

Another reason I love high school football is I get to hear "On, Wisconsin!" Thursday and Friday I will hear it multiple times. Thursday I will be shooting where I went to high school and "On, Wisconsin!" is the fight song. I will be going to another high school football game Friday. That school also uses "On, Wisconsin!" for their fight song. Its neat that three schools in the county use that song. Every time I hear it, I sing my high school's fight song in my head.
