Today was the day my husband and his friend were supposed to finish the porch roof. Now it is on hold. Rain spoiled the day.
I still have the feelings I did last week, I don't do well with messes. My front porch is littered in scrap wood, shingles, siding, and crap that doesn't belong there. Stuff that doesn't belong there is also in our house. Laying on our office floor is more siding. I want things back to normal. I want a shingled porch roof. A clean porch that I can walk around and not step on anything. And siding back on the side of the house, where it belongs. Is that too much to ask?
