The Cross Country Preview meet is four different races instead of the usual two. The races are split up into Freshmen and Sophomores and Juniors and Seniors. The day always begins with the freshman-sophomore races followed by the junior-senior races.
After all of the races are final, the scores are added up. Whoever has the lowest total for both gender races will win the title.
Even though it is the first race of the season, it is always competitive. You can always tell who ran miles during the summer and who didn't. I can't wait to see how well the county runners do this season.
