Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament

I watched the first half of the Baylor vs Georgia Tech women's basketball game live Saturday. I was at church for the second half.

I recorded the game because I wanted to watch all of it. I was excited to read on my twitter timeline that Brittney Griner dunked. Griner had a two-handed dunk in the second half of the game against Georgia Tech. This was the second straight game that Griner had dunked in and seventh dunk total. She is now tied with former Tennessee player Candace Parker, for the most dunks in NCAA tournament play (2). Griner said to reporters that she wanted to get a dunk "in this game."

Baylor defeated Georgia Tech 83-68. Griner finished the game with 35 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks. Baylor will play Tennessee tonight at 7 p.m. in the Elite Eight.

Another game I recorded Saturday night was Duke vs St. John's.
Duke defeated St. John's 74-47. Duke will play Stanford Monday for a chance to head to the Final Four for the first time since 2006. Duke didn't have a dunk, but they also had an excellent play. Tricia Liston scored a three-point buzzer beater to end the first half.

Notre Dame had an easy time on Sunday. The Irish defeated St. Bonaventure 79-35 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Notre Dame has won all three tournament games by double digits. They will face Maryland Tuesday evening in the regional final.
