I never thought I would be wearing a winter coat on April 25.
I wore my winter coat today while photographing the Adrian/Saline track meet. It was very cold and windy. I left my hat in the car because were I parked the trees blocked the wind, so I didn't think it was windy. Once I was standing in the middle of track, I soon regretted not putting on my hat.
What I couldn't believe was the spectators wearing t-shirts and shorts. I watched the Weather Channel before leaving home and it said that it was 46 degrees with a wind chill of 39 degrees. I saw a group of third grade students in t-shirts, a girl wearing a little thin sweater that didn't look warm at all. Here I am wearing jeans, a long sleeved shirt, gloves, my winter coat and I was still cold.
Come on. Its April 25, where is the warm weather?
