Miles run in 2016

2016 was not my year in many more ways than one. I would say it was the most difficult year of my life. So many things happened: good and bad. I found out what I'm made of. I found that I'm stronger then I give myself credit for. I found out who loves and cares for me. I grew in my faith. I'll never forget the year 2016, but it is time to move on and live life to the fullest. 

I didn't run any races longer than a 10K, and that is OK. I ran everyday in 2016 and also ran less miles. With so much going on in my life, I figured it was OK to tone down my miles. I knew I wasn't training for any major races, so it was the perfect time. If I desire to run a half marathon again, I know I can increase my mileage. But for now, running 6-7 miles a day is fine for me. It fits my life. 

So here is to 2017. I know it will be a much better year than 2016. I'm ready to be happy and love life.
